The CCS Fine Arts Department is excited to announce that they will be performing "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" as the Winter Production and "Annie Jr." as the Spring Production this upcoming school year! Audition details are below for students in 4th-12th grades interested in being a part of one of these productions! 🎭

This room will be filled with teachers this week, preparing their hearts, minds, and classrooms for a new school year! Please keep them in your prayers this week!

We are also so thankful for the team of volunteers who give their time and energy to prepare the space and food for our staff this week. ❤️

We know school hasn't started quite yet, but still, save the date for our Back-to-School Picnic on August 25! 🌮

CCS is partnering with Back Again Bookshop on a senior fundraiser! New York Times best-selling author Eric Metaxas will be speaking and signing copies of his latest bestselling book, "Revolution: The Birth of the Greatest Nation in the History of the World," on August 8 from 2-4 p.m. Tickets are $10, and the ticket proceeds will be gifted to the CCS Class of 2027 as they begin their fundraising efforts to defray the cost of their senior trip.

"Revolution" retells the story of America’s founding with a focus on both historical events and the spiritual and philosophical roots of independence. Published to coincide with the United States’ 250th anniversary, the book spans more than 600 pages and includes photos, maps, and illustrations, offering a sweeping narrative from the events leading to Lexington and Concord through the final victory at Yorktown.

The ticket is a fundraiser and does not include the cost of a book. If you would like to purchase one of Eric Metaxas’s books, they will be available for sale at the bookshop.
