The Seton Catholic Junior/Senior class trip to Washington, D.C., and Maryland is officially underway! After an early morning start yesterday, students visited the Holocaust Museum and the National Zoo, followed by dinner out together.

Today, after a ride on the Metro, their stops included the Washington Monument, WWII Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial.

Afterwards, they headed out for a tour of our nation’s capital. We’re excited to see what’s next and continue to keep them in our prayers for safe travels.

The Seton high school physics class issued a challenge to the 8th grade physical science class in an egg drop competition. Both groups designed and constructed carriers for their eggs. Subsequently, they enlisted the assistance of our drones class for the drop. The physics class was the sole group to present an egg that remained intact!

Coach Grace, our Girls' basketball coach and assistant volleyball coach, made a special visit to school today. She was en route to her graduation photo session at Coastal Carolina and wanted to take a moment to photograph with her girls, many of whom she coached for a couple of years. Following graduation and the summer, Coach Grace will chase her aspiration of becoming a Disney Imagineer. We extend our best wishes for her success. May divine guidance be upon her and all who dedicate their time to our students. Go Knights!

It’s National Siblings Day so today we celebrate our Seton Siblings and the beautiful gift that it is—our first friends, lifelong companions, and constant reminders of God’s love in our lives.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the blessing of brothers and sisters. Strengthen the bonds we share, fill our hearts with patience, forgiveness, and joy, and guide us to support one another in faith and love.

May we always reflect Your grace in the way we care for each other.

Amen.

Happy National Siblings Day! 💙

ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with great joy and excitement that we introduce our new Head of School, Mr. Nick Beyer, who will join us on June 1. In addition, we are pleased to announce an internal promotion of Mrs. Julie Cade to Dean of Academics which will commence on August 1, 2026.

Mr. Beyer joins us with a wealth of experience in Catholic education and a proven record of visionary leadership. Throughout his career as a principal and president, he has demonstrated a deep
commitment to academic excellence, strategic growth, and faith formation. He has successfully led schools through periods of growth and innovation, developed strategic plans that strengthen school communities, and expanded opportunities for students both inside and outside the classroom.

As President of Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown, Ohio, Mr. Beyer has reorganized staffing in admissions, athletics, and finance to improve student recruitment and retention, which has
led to enrollment growth for three consecutive years. He also developed and launched the school’s capital campaign to build the financial foundation. We are confident that his leadership will guide St. Elizabeth Ann Seton into an exciting new chapter of continued growth and excellence.

Mrs. Cade, an already familiar and valued member of our Seton family, has served with dedication and distinction in multiple roles since joining our Seton family. As Assistant Principal, she has
overseen critical areas such as technology integration, standardized testing coordination, and student college readiness. Her commitment to academic rigor is matched by her dedication to supporting faculty through curriculum coaching and alignment.

These are clearly exciting times for Seton Catholic as we prepare for enrollment growth and physical plant expansion. Please join us in warmly welcoming Mr. Beyer and Mrs. Cade to their new roles.

Now is a great time to become a Knight! Find out more at www.setoncatholicsc.org

A beautiful day of faith and fellowship! 🙏✨

Our high school students stepped away from their daily routines to take part in a meaningful retreat filled with prayer, reflection, and connection. From engaging activities to quiet moments with God, the day offered something special for everyone.

We are grateful for the opportunity to grow together in faith, share in fellowship, and enjoy time as a community—complete with great conversations and lunch! Even some kite flying!

Go Knights!
