As we get ready to send our Sharks home after a great first day, here’s an important bus reminder!

An adult is required be at the bus stop to pick up all Child Development, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade students. If an adult is not present, the student will be returned to school.

Thank you for helping us make sure all of our Sharks get home safely! 🦈

A special thank you to our amazing PTO for providing Chick-fil-A lunch for our teachers and staff today! Our PTO ladies work so hard to make sure our SES family feels loved and appreciated, and we are so grateful for all they do to support our school.

We also want to give a special thank you to Socastee United Methodist Church for providing drinks to go along with lunch!

We are incredibly lucky to be surrounded by a community that takes such good care of our Sharks! 🦈

Learning, leading, and growing together!

Our Socastee Elementary teachers and paraprofessionals have been busy learning and collaborating as we prepare for a new school year. We are especially proud of our staff members who stepped into leadership roles and shared their knowledge, experiences, and expertise by presenting professional development for their colleagues.

At SES, we keep learning, growing, and getting better because at the heart of everything we do are our students. They are our why, and they are worth our very best. 💙🦈

There’s nothing quite like having our halls full again!

We loved welcoming our families back to Socastee Elementary for Open House on Wednesday! It was so good to see familiar faces, meet new Sharks, and feel the excitement of a new school year throughout our school.

We are so excited for all that is ahead and can’t wait to welcome our Sharks back! 💙🦈

A big thank you to Karate World for helping our teachers start the day with a special treat!

We are so grateful for their kindness in providing bagels, coffee, and other breakfast goodies for our staff. They also donated school supplies and tissues! This is far from the first time Karate World has shown up for Socastee, and we truly cannot thank them enough for the many ways they continue to support our school and put our teachers and students first.

We are so lucky to be part of a community that continues to show up for our Socastee family! 🦈
