For New Inquiries
As I move into a more focused stage of my teaching career, I am gradually downsizing my studio. Openings are now very limited and offered only to students who show genuine interest, consistent motivation, and family support for regular practice and progress.
I enjoy working with dedicated students and supportive families who value the beauty and depth of music Thank you for understanding.

HERE’S WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR BRAIN WHEN YOU PLAY THE PIANO
Playing the piano is true neurobiological magic!
The moment you sit down at the instrument, your brain lights up — activating multiple regions at once. Here's what’s going on:
👀 EYES (Occipital lobe, visual cortex):
You learn to read music and instantly translate what you see into movement. It’s like reading two books at the same time!
👂 EARS (Temporal lobe, auditory cortex):
You’re constantly listening, adjusting, and refining what you play. This sharpens your auditory perception and your analytical skills.
🤲 TWO HANDS (Primary motor cortex, prefrontal cortex, cerebellum):
Your left and right hands often play different rhythms and melodies. The brain works to synchronize both hemispheres — boosting coordination and multitasking.
🎹 TEN FINGERS:
Very few instruments require such fine motor control. Every movement strengthens your neural pathways.
⏱ SENSE OF TIME (Prefrontal cortex, cerebellum):
Pianists learn to "keep the tempo," aligning sound, movement, and inner rhythm. This enhances timing, discipline, and focus.
📍 SPATIAL AWARENESS (Parietal lobe):
You know where the keys are — even without looking. This develops spatial thinking, a skill that’s useful in everyday life.
🎨 ARTISTIC EXPRESSION (Prefrontal cortex):
Dynamics, rhythm, emotion — interpreting music requires deep emotional intelligence and creativity.
👣 TWO FEET (Pedals):
Yes, your feet are involved too! They help shape the sound and add another layer of coordination.
🤸♀️ PROPRIOCEPTION & TOUCH:
You feel the effort, the weight, and the precision of every movement. Your cerebellum fine-tunes them to perfection.
BOTTOM LINE:
Playing the piano activates your brain in ways no gadget, game, or app ever could. It’s full-on brain fitness!
Want to improve memory, focus, emotional intelligence, and even spatial thinking?
Sit down at the piano.

Since my piano studio has grown to the point that I now have almost 30 students, I have decided to revive my old tradition of home small group piano recitals. In my house I held my first concert yesterday for only 10 students and the student’s moms. It went absolutely fantastic! The kids performed great! I am going to continue with this in the near future for the rest of my students.
Alex is progressing great! So proud of him!
Ronnie is playing an advanced piece “L’amore dice ciao”. Its amazing how fast he’s progressing
