As we reflect on another incredible Dragon Boat Festival, we simply want to say THANK YOU.
Because of your support—as a participant, sponsor, volunteer, vendor, donor, spectator or prayer partner—this year's festival was a tremendous success. The energy, excitement and community spirit on display throughout the day reminded us why this event continues to be such a special tradition.
One of the highlights this year was seeing so many people come together to support the mission of Ground Zero while enjoying a day of racing, family fun and community connection. We were especially excited to have a Ground Zero team back on the water, made up of staff, volunteers and students who proudly represented our ministry.
To help relive the memories, we've included our 2026 Dragon Boat Festival highlight video below. We hope you enjoy looking back on a day filled with friendly competition, laughter and lives impacted through your support.
And while we're celebrating this year's success, we're already looking ahead to next year. Be sure to save the date for the 19th Annual Dragon Boat Festival on April 24, 2027. We can't wait to gather again for another day of racing, community and support for the students we serve.

The school year may be over, but the impact these iLeaders have made will last far beyond it. From leading well to growing together and individually to showing the love of Jesus to every student who walks through our doors, they have made a lasting impact. We are incredibly proud of each of you (including the few not pictured!) and can’t wait to see how God continues to use you. 🧡💙

Flight A featured the fastest teams of the day and some incredible racing from start to finish at this year’s Dragon Boat Festival! 🐉🚣
From powerful starts to close finishes, these teams kept the excitement high to close out the day in an unforgettable way.
Fun fact: the Lee Disposal Services Thunder Rockets set the fastest time of the day during the very first race of the festival! 🔥
