🐬 As our teachers spend today and tomorrow in professional development preparing for the year ahead, we’re focusing on how HCS’s Focused Learning Initiative will come to life at OBE. We’re committed to providing students with more opportunities to read, create, explore, and learn together. Families can continue that learning at home with simple activities like reading, playing a game, or spending time outside. 💙💛

Ocean Bay Elementary PTO is inviting our OBE families and community members to help us stock the teacher lounge with fun school supplies and grab-and-go snacks that help keep our incredible staff fueled throughout the day.

✨ We're collecting donations now through August 17!

Some of our most requested items include:
🖍️ Fun, colorful classroom favorites like Paper Mate Flair pens, colorful EXPO markers, Post-it Notes, and other bright, cheerful school supplies
🧽 Clorox wipes
🤧 Boxes of facial tissues
🧻 Bounty paper towels
🥨 Individual bags of chips, pretzels & popcorn
🥤 Canned seltzers & sodas
🥜 Trail mix
🍫 Chocolate (M&M's, Reese's Cups, etc.)
🥩 Beef jerky

We're looking for a PTO Secretary to join our Executive Board! This is a great opportunity for a parent or guardian who wants to become more involved in our school community while helping support our students, teachers, and staff.

As Secretary, you'll:
📝 Record minutes during our monthly board meetings
📂 Help keep our records organized
🤝 Collaborate with an enthusiastic, supportive leadership team
💙 Have a voice in planning events, supporting our teachers, and making OBE an even better place for our Dolphins!

No previous PTO experience is necessary—we'll help you learn the role and support you every step of the way.
