Digital Art & Design with Animation is a two-year major for students interested in graphic & web design, photography, animation, advertising, & marketing.
DC is one of nine majors at the Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology. The Web and "Digital Communications" major is designed for students with a desire to pursue careers such as, Photo Editor, Graphic Artist, Web Page Developer, Webmaster, Illustrator, 3D Animator, and Multimedia Specialist. To the Senior Class of 2026, thank you for being the final chapter of the Web and Digital Communications major at the Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology.
You were more than students in a program. You were designers, photographers, animators, storytellers, developers, creators, problem solvers, and innovators. Over the past two years, you filled our classroom with creativity, laughter, collaboration, and unforgettable work that left a lasting mark on this program and this school.
This senior sign off video is more than a goodbye. It is the closing scene of a major that helped shape so many talented artists and creators over the years. While the program name will change next year to Digital Art and Design with Animation, the spirit of creativity, passion, and experimentation that defined Web and Digital Communications will continue because of the example you set.
Thank you for your hard work, your kindness, your originality, and the energy you brought into the classroom every single day. I could not be more proud of all of you and excited to see where your paths lead next.
