We Still Need a Few Helping Hands Tomorrow!
Our concessions stand clean-up is tomorrow morning, and we still have 5 volunteer spots available. We'd really love to get a few more helping hands so we can divide up the work and get everything knocked out!
We'll begin at 10:00 AM, and all time worked will count toward your family's Volunteer Incentive Program goal.
A few reminders:
• This opportunity is for parents/guardians.
• Come dressed and ready to clean. Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
• We'll be doing some deep cleaning, and there may be some moving of items or heavier lifting.
• All cleaning supplies will be provided.
• The concessions stand has A/C, running water, and a restroom.
• Bottled water will be available.
• And yes, we're feeding you! Lunch will be provided for our volunteers.
If you've been thinking about getting a jump start on your volunteer hours, tomorrow is a great opportunity. Even better, the more people we have, the quicker we can get it done!

🎉 One More Day of Band Camp to Go! 🎉
Congratulations to all of our amazing students on making it through Band Camp! We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and positive attitudes you've shown this week, and we can't wait to see everything you'll accomplish this season.
As a small way of celebrating your hard work, the Carolina Forest Band Boosters have invited Kona Ice to visit after practice tomorrow!
Every band student will receive a complimentary Kona Ice, courtesy of the Boosters. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved treat as we wrap up an incredible two weeks!

If your family has not yet picked up a copy of the new CFHS Band Parent Handbook, please stop by and see us after practice. We'd love for every family to have one! It contains important information, helpful resources, and answers to many of the questions that come up throughout the season.

Hey Everyone, Just a reminder Summer Band Camp is just a week away! It starts Monday July 20th, runs Monday through Friday through 7/31/26. Be sure your child has plenty of water to stay hydrated, (recommend a large cooler plus a smaller one to keep in Lowes bag), sunscreen, sunglasses and/or hats, and lunch. They also need to be in their band camp attire, black shorts for everyone - white tops for marching band, red tops for color guard, and black shirts for drum majors. Also wear comfortable tennis shoes. If you would like to bring a cooling towel or personal fan, that is fine. But also remember your instrument and your music.
We look forward to seeing you there! I'm working on confirming the time. It will either be 8 or 9 am to 4pm.

No Fun Allowed is playing on stage right now. We have two more great bands playing tonight at Calli Baker's Firehouse and Grill. Would be great to have some of our band family members showing up to support the marching band. This event is for local artists who are working toward obtaining a record label. A portion of the proceeds from the event go toward Carolina Forest marching band.

We know it's hot, so bring your umbrellas, bring your suntan lotion, bring a chair and bring some friends and come listen to music.
Joint Works Entertainment, a local independent record label, has partnered with Calli Baker's Firehouse in North Myrtle Beach to host a Battle of the Bands featuring local and regional original musicians with proceeds from the event benefiting the Carolina Forest Band Program.
These events are family friendly for all ages and will take place on June 14, 21, 28 and July 5 from 3-11pm. Calli Baker's Firehouse has agreed to allow the Band Program to run a concessions stand providing a hot dog plate, bottled water, snacks, etc. with all sales going directly to the band. There will be raffles, a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, as well as vendors setup throughout each date.
Come out and Support the local bands and Carolina Forest Marching Band!!
