The Learning Center at Socastee United Methodist Church TLC provides a warm & caring atmosphere where children learn to love God, themselves and others. We attend Chapel once a week for worship together.

We use a Bible-based curriculum entitled Weekday Programs for Children. On a daily basis, the children are read Bible stories, learn Bible verses and songs. Our teaching method is based on the Montessori method. This teaching method allows the child to develop an awareness of self and encourages the development of independent decision making skills. All of the work the children are presented is developmentally appropriate, has an observable mastery, is challenging, and is most times open-ended.

Starting at 6 months, our Parents Morning Out program has flexible options for you! Our half day program runs from 8:30-12, and you can choose a 2, 3, or 5 day a week option!
