📢 SC Child Care Scholarship Program Update

We know there has been a lot of confusion surrounding the SC Child Care Scholarship (ABC Voucher) Program, so we wanted to share the latest information directly from the South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS).

The program has NOT been canceled.

✔️ Families currently receiving scholarships will continue through their approved eligibility period.
✔️ Applications are still being accepted for federally protected categories.
✔️ DSS will soon implement a wait list for eligible families as funding becomes available. Being placed on the wait list is not a denial of benefits.

Please be sure to get your information from official DSS sources rather than social media or rumors, as there has been misinformation circulating.
