My mentor is Kensley Atkins. My first year joining the team she was a senior. She was always there for me and I look up to her in everything I do. She was a true teammate, friend, and person to rely on. I will be attending Clemson University in the fall and I will be majoring in English. I want to become a family attorney and live somewhere tropical. My greatest tennis memory is my senior night this year. An underclassmen picked a senior and they got us sweet gifts and everyone left us nice notes. It was so much fun and the girls were so sweet it left me in tears. My advice to underclassmen is to enjoy every second and to put yourself out there.

1-My mentor is Jesus Christ. He is the guide in every aspect of my life and is the best part of me. He always shows me what is the best path for me and never fails me. His unfailing love is something I am thankful for every day.
2- I am attending Clemson University and majoring in Graphic Communications.
3-My goal is to have a career in sports and entertainment marketing and use my major to help me do so. I also dream of being able to travel the world and see places like Greece and France.
3-My greatest tennis memory at SHS is the countless dance parties to Pitbull and Taylor Swift. It was always my favorite part of the day and helped me to let go of any stress and just have fun.
5-My advice to the underclassmen, enjoy every single moment because it will be over before you know it. Forget the mistakes you make on the court and focus on doing your best. Live in the present and not the past and enjoy the time you have with each other.

She is beyond encouraging no matter the situation. She has a heart for Jesus and she is kind to everybody she meets. She is the ultimate mentor and I am privileged to have been able to play tennis with her. 2. University of South Carolina Honors College 3. I am going to college as a Public Health major and declaring pre-law. I hope to attend law school after getting my degree and becoming an adoption attorney! 4. My greatest tennis memory is when I was quarantined during playoffs and the team still facetimed me so that I could be apart of the pre-game huddle and prayer. Saying the prayer and “Braves on 3” has been one of the highlights of my tennis career. I love how we all come together before a match to give each other encouragement and to leave it all in His hands. 5. My advice to underclassmen is to have fun. At times, I would get in my head when I was down, but just because you don’t win a match does not mean you should feel like you let yourself or your team down. Tennis is a team sport and it is not all down to your match. Remember why you started playing in the first place and just do your best. You can’t be the best at everything, but you can always try your best. @joy.renfrow

Brooke Rogers Named SCCAWS AAAAA Tennis Player of the Year... Again!!! Brooke Rogers was recently named the AAAAA Tennis Player of the Year for the second straight year. Thank you Brooke for all you have accomplished while representing Socastee High School Lady Braves Tennis!

Our Socastee Lady Braves Tennis Team was celebrated at Fridays Basketball game with a ring ceremony acknowledging their state championship win!
