🎉 We are ready for the 2026–2027 school year at Empower Learning Center!📚✝️

The classrooms are ready, we’ve welcomed our students and families at Meet the Teacher Night, and our hearts are full of excitement for all God has in store for this year!

Our theme for this school year is “More Like Jesus.”❤️

Our prayer is that throughout this year, each of us—students and staff alike—will grow to be more like Jesus in the way we learn, lead, serve, love, and encourage one another. We want Christ to be at the center of all we do as we strive each day to follow His example.

We’re stepping into this new school year with expectant hearts, ready for new friendships, exciting learning opportunities, lots of growth, and all the ways God will work within our Empower family.

Empower Learning Center is looking for a **5th/6th Grade Teacher** to join our team in **Myerstown, PA!**

This is a unique opportunity to teach in a **Christ-centered hybrid homeschool program** where you can make a meaningful impact while teaching just **two days a week — Tuesdays & Thursdays**.

Our teachers have their **own classroom** and the freedom to create engaging, hands-on lesson plans that help students grow academically, spiritually, and personally.

Empower is currently accepting applications for part-time upper elementary teaching position for the 2026/2027 school year.

This role involves teaching on Tuesdays and Thursdays, totaling 70 days per year, and having your own classroom.

There is also opportunity to do private tutoring for extra income the other 2-3 days of the week.

We are seeking individuals who share our passion for teaching and our love for Jesus, with experience in classroom settings and the ability to lead students spiritually and academically.

Today was a truly unforgettable day of discovery at Memorial Lake State Park, a highlight for our students every year.

It was a day bursting with joy, laughter, and sunshine that perfectly complemented our adventure. The weather was absolutely ideal, setting the tone for an incredible experience!!

We immersed ourselves in nature with an engaging creek study, exhilarating kayaking and fishing excursions, and an enlightening unit study on sunflowers. The students even got to plant their own sunflower seeds, a thoughtful gift for their moms on Mother’s Day.
Memorial Lake proved to be a stunning backdrop for learning and exploration, inspiring young minds to grow and flourish.
