Amazon Prime Day combined with “The Final Countdown of Summer”

I’m excited to get back to Lakehoma Elementary School art room soon! I’ve been planning all summer and thinking about all the students and what they would enjoy.

This year in art, we are going to have an adventure in art by focusing on looking at what the natural world and finding art in it! Students will be artists, zoologists, botanists, astronomers, and geographers!

Art room window is ready for this school year! I’m excited for our theme this year: “Glow…leave a little glow where you go…” The school looks so fun, happy, and bright! I think it will be a great year!

During the summer, Ms. Leochner is virtually attending the Art of Education () conference. Tonight in the intro session, we had to draw symbols that represent us. The activity was for students to decorate their sketchbooks with symbols to represent themselves. Great session!
