At last week's regular meeting of the Mustang City Council, Mayor Michael Ray presented a proclamation declaring October as "Breast Cancer Awareness" month in the City of Mustang. The proclamation was presented to his sister, Misty Rhea, in remembrance of their mother and in support of all those battling Breast Cancer and those that have won.

If your refuse day falls on a Friday, then this Saturday, October 17, 2026 is your Fall Curbside Clean-up Day and you can begin placing unwanted items at the curb today. If your refuse day falls on a Thursday, then tomorrow, Saturday, October 10, 2026, is your Fall Curbside Clean-up Day. All accepted unwanted items should be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 AM tomorrow.
