Bacone Alumni & Former Students,

Good news! You are now able to request your Bacone College transcripts through the Parchment website.

Here’s how to do it:

Go to Parchment and add Northeastern State University (NSU) as your school

Click “Order Transcripts”

On the next page, you’ll see the option for Bacone College Transcript

Complete your order from there

This is a big step forward in making transcripts more accessible for our Bacone community. Please share this with other alumni and former students who may need their records.

Hey everyone — I wanted to share an important update for all Bacone College alumni and former students.

I just received confirmation that all Bacone transcripts have now been transferred to Northeastern State University.

If you need official transcripts (for jobs, grad school, etc.), you’ll now need to contact NSU directly through their website: nsuok.edu

Please help spread the word to other Bacone alumni and former students who may be trying to track down their records.

I know a lot of folks have been waiting on this update.

Enjoy the traditional college feel and is truly a fun and affordable place, Only NSU has the third-lowest tuition in Oklahoma.

If you need a transcript for admissions or employment, please read and share:

📆 Dates of Accredited Operation: March 31, 1965 – July 17, 2024

Bacone College was placed into Chapter 7 bankruptcy in May 2025. Because of this, transcripts are no longer available through Parchment, and Bacone transcripts are currently unavailable.

The bankruptcy trustee is working to find a new records custodian, who will maintain Bacone transcripts (going back to 1999) and eventually make them available again for online ordering. There is no established timeline yet for when transcript access will be restored.

The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE) are in contact with the involved parties and are monitoring the situation. They will update their site when there is reliable information about when and how transcripts will become available again.

OSRHE staff are creating a list of former Bacone students to contact when they receive a substantive update about Bacone transcripts.

📣 Attention Former Bacone College Students 📣

If you’re trying to order official transcripts and ran into issues with Parchment, you’re not alone.

⚠️ Although the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE) website says Bacone transcripts should be available through Parchment, this is no longer true. When you try to order, Parchment shows this message:

“Bacone College has filed for bankruptcy protection in the Eastern District of Oklahoma and cannot fulfill transcript requests at this time. We do not know when transcript services will become available.”

Here’s what you can do instead ⬇️

📌 Contact Bacone College Directly:
Even during bankruptcy, Bacone may be able to issue paper transcripts by request.

👉 Request a paper or eTranscript — they were previously charging $5–$7.50.
