Thanks to everyone for making this night possible!

A big “thank you" to everyone who helped make this an exciting--and profitable--week for our Oklahoma School for the Blind.

Their annual spaghetti dinner raised a record $12,188. That couldn't have been done without the help of the students, staff and the generous sponsors.
Kudos to those sponsors who helped make the event a success:
Boom-a-rang
A&A Insulation
Glynn & Company
PGD Attorneys at Law
Play & Learn Preschool
The Glynn Family
The Abel Family

A special thank-you goes to Boom-a-rang for its generous $3,000 donation in support of the school and its students.

The school also recognize and thanks the many volunteers, donors and community members who gave their time, resources and support. Their generosity and hard work played an essential role in making the event possible!

White Cane Safety Day

The Oklahoma School for the Blind observed White Cane Safety Day on Tuesday, October 13, at 1:00 p.m. in downtown Muskogee!

White Cane Safety Day, officially recognized on October 15 each year, celebrates the independence, achievements, and rights of individuals who are blind or visually impaired. The white cane is an important tool that promotes safe, independent travel and mobility.

This special observance raises awareness about accessibility, pedestrian safety, and the importance of creating opportunities for individuals who are blind or visually impaired to learn, work, and thrive in their communities. We are proud to celebrate independence, inclusion, and the accomplishments of the blind and visually impaired community!
