Lead Teacher / Master Teacher

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and motivated Lead Teacher or Master Teacher to take ownership of a classroom and provide consistent leadership, structure, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum supporting children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
* Maintain a positive, structured classroom using consistent and supportive guidance
* Actively supervise and engage with children throughout the day
* Oversee classroom routines, including meals, personal care, hygiene, rest, and learning activities
* Complete and maintain required classroom documentation, assessments, and progress reports
* Ensure the classroom consistently meets safety, cleanliness, and licensing standards
* Communicate professionally with families through daily updates and scheduled conferences
* Provide direction and support to assistant teachers
* Follow all Oklahoma childcare licensing requirements and Little Okie Academy policies
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* At least one year of childcare experience required
* Current CDA or another qualification recognized for Oklahoma Master Teacher status required
* Strong classroom-management and leadership skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organization, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
* Dependable attendance and a consistently professional attitude
* Must meet all childcare background-check and employment requirements
Benefits and Schedule
* $13.50–$15.00 per hour, based on education, credentials, and experience
* Full-time, Monday through Friday
* No nights or weekends
* Paid time off for eligible full-time employees, accruing after 90 days
