The Read, Play, Talk Bus is rolling back out this week!

Join us tomorrow, June 11, from 9-11 a.m. at Tony Goetz Elementary during Summer School for books, activities, and fun!

No need to be enrolled in Summer School or attend MPS—this event is open to everyone in the community. Children of all ages are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students did an amazing job today at the District Elementary Track Meet. Not only did we win the track meet, we won the day. Our students represented Cherokee with excellence through their outstanding behavior, sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive attitudes throughout the entire event.

Thank you to our teachers/staff for your support in making today a success. Coach Mac - we appreciate your organization and commitment to make sure our students were prepared. Most importantly, thank you to our students for showing what it truly means to be Cherokee Proud. We are proud of each and every one of them! 🤩💚

☀️ Free Summer Meals for Kids! 🍎

Muskogee Public Schools is proud to offer free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years of age and younger through our Summer Feeding Program.

Meals are prepared by MPS Child Nutrition Services and must be eaten on-site.

Meals will be served June 1–25, 2026, Monday through Thursday. No meals will be served on Fridays.

Lunch: 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Tony Goetz Elementary
