Meet Patrick VanOtteren! He is an MCC instructor in Applied Technology and Automation Technology. His favorite thing to teach about is Robotics, because it is an area where students who have no experience with electro-mechanical equipment or electronics can learn and excel.

Patrick enjoys mountain biking, gravel bike riding, and hiking.

When asked why someone should enroll in his class, he said the following: "The robot class is designed to accommodate everyone. This is not what I would call a technical class; it is more of an interactive course learning the basics of robots. [It's for anyone and everyone!]"
"The Automation classes are geared more for the students looking to get into the world of automation. We have a good program and there are many companies looking for people to fill positions meeting the requirements we provide."

Thank you to all who joined us in the Overbrook Theater last night to honor our beloved Dan Meyers. He was a pillar of our community and a leader in our music programs.
