GET YOUR COSTUMES READY! We officially have a date for our 2026 Trunk or Treat! Please help promote this FREE community event on Wednesday, October 28th. You do not need to be a 4-H or JCI member to attend. Parking and attendance to the Trunk or Treat event is FREE.

PONY AND HAY RIDES will be available for a cost (CASH ONLY) and all proceeds will support MCFA Horse programs. .

Are you ready to Take Your 4-H Leadership to the Next Level?

Applications are now open for the Michigan 4-H State Youth Leadership Council (SYLC), Michigan 4-H's highest youth leadership opportunity for young people ages 15-19!
As a SYLC member, you'll represent Michigan 4-H across the state, promote 4-H through local and statewide activities, and help shape the future of 4-H programs by sharing youth perspectives and ideas.

✅ Build skills in public speaking, advocacy, communication, and leadership
✅ Connect with 4-H youth from across Michigan
✅ Expand your knowledge beyond your county's programs

The Muskegon County Fair made some waves this year and wrapped up on July 25th after a week full of hard work and fun! We are so proud of all the 4-H youth who dedicate time and patience all year to prepare for the county fair. We are also beyond grateful to the 4-H parents and volunteers who work to teach these youth the valuable lessons of 4-H.We are so excited to see 4-H youth not just win competitions but also carry these lifelong lessons with them as they grow into leaders and dedicated young people in their communities.

Come join us back out there next year, July 2027!

We had a great first day at Catch the Buzz! 4-H Mini Camp! Campers explored the Muskegon Conservation District grounds, learning about beehive boxes and native plants. We made chenille flowers, sampled local blueberries, and polished up on our unexpected pollinator knowledge (🐌🐜🦇🐞). Day two, here we come!

Speaking of day two, we'd love to have more friends buzz by! If you've been bamboozled by our registration system, do not fret. Arrive before 9am tomorrow (at the Muskegon Conservation District building, 4735 Holton Rd, Twin Lake, MI 49457) to fill out a paper registration form!
