We’re excited to share the refreshed Senior Marketing Group of West Michigan (SMG) — a growing network of business professionals, service providers, organizations, and community leaders who are passionate about supporting older adults and their families.
Our focus is simple:

SMG is built on the belief that collaboration over competition creates stronger communities.
Through networking, education, community involvement, and meaningful partnerships, we connect professionals with one another — and help connect seniors and their families with the resources and services they need.
What does SMG offer?
✨ Networking Opportunities — Build relationships with professionals who serve the aging population through quarterly gatherings and our Link-Up networking events.
📚 Education & Inspiration — Our Food for Thought events bring professionals together for timely topics, knowledgeable speakers, practical information, and great conversation.
👵 Connections with Seniors — Our annual Senior Community Day provides an opportunity for members to connect directly with hundreds of local seniors and other professionals.
🏘️ A Resource for West Michigan — Our online member directory helps older adults and their families discover businesses and organizations offering senior-focused products, services, and resources.
❤️ Community Impact — SMG members have supported initiatives including the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Feeding America, local pantries, nursing homes, nonprofits, and holiday meal deliveries.
And we're continuing to grow! 🌱
