She did it! Working full time, a mom to a 7 year old son, Bobbie earned her diploma🎉💐😻!!!
Bobbie attended Orchard View Adult Ed and credits her teacher, Tom Bruno, for helping and encouraging her along the way. Bobbie was motivated to make a better life for her and her son by getting a diploma as well as attending our Electrical & Computer Technology course at the Career Tech. She is grateful to Mr. B, Ms. Jill, and she especially thanks her brother, Ray’kwan, for watching her son while she’s at work and class.

Please congratulate Emily on completing her GED at Innovative Learning Center!!! Emily was motivated by her 3 children to be a positive role model and finish what she started. On top of her schooling and being a full-time Mom, Emily was also a superstar in our Medical Program offered through Linked Muskegon.
She spoke highly about the ILC thanking the teachers that allowed her the flexibility to finish on her own schedule.
Emily is enrolled at MCC for fall of ‘26 to do their Medical Assistant Program.
Keeping in the family, her husband is currently enrolled in our Welding program.
We can’t wait to see you walk at graduation in May!
