Three Oaks is a non-traditional, accelerated Kindergarten (pre-Kindergarten provided grant funds are available) through fifth grade, tuition free, public school academy with an experiential hands-on curriculum that is aligned to the Michigan Curriculum Framework and Grade Level Content Expectations.

☀️ Staff Spotlight: Summer Catch-Up with Mrs. Douglas! 🏡🌊

Our teachers have been busy making memories and enjoying beautiful adventures! We are excited to share what Lynell Douglas, our STEAM Teacher, has been up to over the break:

This summer Mrs.Douglas sold her home and moved into her brand new home on the lake. She had spent alot of time floating on the water and soaking up the sun!☀️

Mrs. Douglas has taken multiple trips up north exploring Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City.

As we get closer to the new school year, she is feeling inspired and ready to bring creativity and imagination into the classroom though her students! 💫

This Summer Mr. Andre enjoyed traveling to so many exciting places, switching things up from his original Florida trip to explore Nashville, Tennessee! He soaked up great music, sights and quality time. 🎸

This summer Ms. Flanders hosted her daughters high school open house and moved her into college, She ate a lot of ice cream and taught summer school and enjoyed some fun field trips.

Our teachers have been enjoying wonderful summer adventures! We are excited to share what Mrs. Implom, our kindergarten teacher has been up to over the break:

This summer Mrs. Implom enjoyed taking trips on their new boat, spending time at the beach, camping and going squishy hunting. Mrs. Implom visited Michigan Adventures and explored Petosky and Traverse City with her family.

😎 Staff Spotlight: Summer Catch-Up with Ms. Davis

Our teachers lead with heart and dedication every single day! We are so proud to share what Ms. Davis our preschool teacher & director, has been up to this summer as she heads into her 6th year at TOPSA:

This Summer Ms. Davis kicked off summer by being honored with the peer- nominated Power of One Award. She met the Childcare Whisperer, Mr. Ty sparking even more inspiration for teaching! Ms. Davis taught summer school and focused on deepening her passion for social emotional learning to support both students and their families, and all while maintaining a 3.76 GPA and making the Dean's list while working towards her Bachelor's degree in Early childhood education with a special education endorsement! 💞

As Ms. Davis gears up for a new school year, she is feeling excited to meet all of our incoming preschool students and families! She cant wait to create a classroom filled with learning, laughter, connection, growth and FUN while making sure every child knows they are loved, supported and capable!

Our building wouldn't run without her, and we are so grateful for all her hard work! We are excite to share what Miss. Bridget , who takes such wonderful care of our building has been up to this summer:

This summer Miss. Bridget has been working hard to get our school shining and ready for a new year, she has proudly represented Three Oaks in two parades with her grandchildren. Miss. Bridget has been focused on her education and getting great grades in all her courses , prioritizing self-care and staying healthy inside & out! 🎉✨

Looking ahead to the upcoming school year she leaves us with a wonderful reminder:

"This school year I am looking forward to sharing wisdom with students and I am hoping everyone shows patience, kindness, and understanding to all our staff and students. Every child deserves someone who believes in them" 💖
