We went out with a bang on our last day of Cardinal Camp with a cookout, water volleyball, and our summer slideshow! It’s hard to believe camp is already over—we truly had the most amazing summer! 😊

A huge thank you to all of the families who shared their kids with us this summer. It was such a joy to spend our days with them, and we hope we created a summer full of fun, friendship, and memories they’ll carry with them into the school year. We hope they have an amazing year ahead! ❤️

It’s impossible to have a bad day when the beach and ice cream are involved! ☀️🍦

Today was also our last day with Mrs. Audra — the best bus driver ever! Cardinal Camp simply wouldn’t be possible without her getting us safely to and from our field trips every week. Our kids and staff absolutely adore her!

Mrs. Audra greets every student with a smile, always brings a positive attitude, and genuinely takes the time to get to know each of them throughout the summer. And, of course, we especially love that she lets us plug in our aux cord and jam out on every bus ride!

Thank you, Mrs. Audra, for spending every Tuesday and Thursday with us and making our summer adventures even more special. We’ll miss seeing your sweet face every week!

Reminder: Tomorrow we will be going to Twin Lake from 10-3:30. Please make sure your child has all of their beach day essentials! The park store will be open tomorrow if you’d like to send your child with $5 for ice cream.

We cannot believe it is already the last week of Cardinal Camp! It has been another amazing summer and we’re so grateful for the group of students who joined us this year 😊

The last week of activities will be as follows —
Monday: Memory Picture Frames
Tuesday: Jumpin’ Jupiter, 11:30-3
Wednesday: Wesley Park, 12-2:30
Thursday: Twin Lake, 10-3:30
Friday: End of Summer Slideshow & Water Fun Day!

Roller coasters, water slides, ice cream, and great company — what more could we ask for! 🎢

We hope everyone gets a good night of sleep after a fun and exhausting day! Reminder that tomorrow will be a movie and treat day. Please feel free to send your child with a blanket, pillow, and stuffed animal to kick back with 😊

🌊 Michigan’s Adventure Trip Reminders! 🎢

Here are a few important reminders, along with a list of things your child will need for our Michigan’s Adventure trip tomorrow!

🚌 Transportation
Our bus will leave Cardinal at 10:00 AM and return at approximately 5:45 PM.

🍎 Lunch
Once we arrive at Michigan’s Adventure, students will enjoy an early lunch near the entrance before entering the park.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents/Guardians Attending
If you are attending the trip with your child, they will not be signed into our care for the day.
Feel free to follow a group if your child would like to spend some time with their friends, or you are welcome to explore the park on your own!

🎒 What Your Child Needs
- Bathing suit
- Towel
- Water bottle
- Dry clothes
- Flotation device, if necessary
- Backpack to carry their belongings

💵 Spending Money
Spending money is optional, but encouraged for a snack or drink, as it will be a long day. Due to the higher prices at Michigan’s Adventure, we recommend sending at least $10–$15 to ensure your child has enough to purchase something if needed.

☀️ Sunscreen
Staff will be split into small groups and will be responsible for carrying sunscreen for their groups and helping students apply it throughout the day to help prevent sunburn.

Parents,

If you signed up to join us for our trip to Michigan’s Adventure tomorrow, we will be arriving at 10:30 a.m.

Once we arrive, students will eat an early lunch outside the park entrance. We will then pass out tickets before entering the park at 11 a.m.

Your child is welcome to ride to and from Michigan’s Adventure with you. You are welcome to take your child away from the group and enjoy the attractions together on your own schedule.

If you have any questions, please let us know. We’re looking forward to a fun day at Michigan’s Adventure!
