Muskegon MSU Extension MSU Extension helps people improve their lives through an educational process that applies knowledge to critical issues, needs and opportunities.

Citizen Planner Returns to Mason County!

Want to better understand planning and zoning in Michigan? Join MSU Extension's Citizen Planner Program, a six-session certificate course covering planning, zoning, ethics, placemaking, and community development. Classes will be held Wednesday evenings from September 23–November 11, 2026, at Hamlin Township Hall. No classes on October 7 and November 4. Participants who complete the course receive a certificate of completion.
