Tuesday is the first day of school! 🎉 With all the excitement in the air, dismissal and pick-up can get a little congested, especially during those first few days.

These videos will help you prepare for what to expect during pick-up and make the process a little smoother for everyone. We appreciate your patience as we all get back into the routine!

Today, our kindergartners had the opportunity to spend some time getting familiar with their new school and classrooms! Parents also received helpful information to prepare their children for a successful start to the school year. It was wonderful having our students on campus, and we can’t wait to welcome them back on Tuesday for the official start of an exciting year! 💙🦅

All bus times for the 2026–27 school year have been posted for Apple Carr and Egelcraft Trailer Parks. 🚌

The schedules are posted in the main office and in all the mail houses at both parks.

If you have not yet heard from your bus driver with your pickup time, please be patient. Drivers have until the end of today to complete all calls and provide pickup times.

Oakridge Lower Elementary Students are On the Move!
Students in grades K-2 attending summer school recently went to Mac Woods Dune Rides where they were able to explore the dynamic dune ecosystem as “junior campers,” learning about sand formation, plants, animals, and environmental conservation. As a part of their Camping theme for the first half of summer school, students observed natural processes like erosion and discuss how plants and animals adapt to their environment, reinforcing early science concepts in a fun, outdoor setting.
