Good afternoon, Eagle Nation!

All bus times for the 2026–27 school year have been posted for Apple Carr and Egelcraft Trailer Parks. 🚌

The schedules are posted in the main office and in all the mail houses at both parks.

If you have not yet heard from your bus driver with your pickup time, please be patient. Drivers have until the end of today to complete all calls and provide pickup times.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation, and we look forward to a great school year! 🦅

Back to school dates for Oakridge Early Childhood Center are as follows:
Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE):
August 25: Meet and Greet for All students 8:05am-11:20 am (no busing this day)
Come anytime during this open house time to see the classroom, bring in clothing and toileting supplies and meet the teachers.
Regular times and busing start on August 26.

GSRP Preschool: Home Visits will be the week of August 31. Teachers will start calling to set them up at the end of this week.
September 8 will be our Meet and Greet 9-10 am or 10:30-11:30am.
September 9 will be our first regular day.

If you are unsure of which program your child is in, please call the main office 231-788-7304.

We were able to visit Oakridge Lower Elementary today for Step Up Day. GSRP and ECSE students were able to have a snack in the cafeteria, play on the playground, tour some kindergarten classrooms and learn about PRIDE expectations.

A huge thank you to our community partner, Muskegon Area District Library for hosting our first Art on a Roll today with room 4. Students learned what a composer is and learned about Frederic Chopin. They learned he liked to write nocturne music and then we heard about artist James McNeill Whistler who liked to paint nocturne art. The kids were able to create their own nocturne piece of art depicting a night scene.
