Last year, our Building Trades students took home 1st Place at the NARI Home Show for their incredible construction of a Mancave.

This year, they’re taking on a project that is about much more than building something — it’s about giving someone an opportunity back.

Our students are designing and building a custom accessible tree stand for an individual who was paralyzed following a tragic car accident. For the past 12 years, he has been unable to hunt from a tree stand. This project will give him the opportunity to experience something he once loved again.

Recently, our students had the opportunity to meet the future recipient of the project and hear firsthand what this project will mean to him.

We are incredibly grateful to Mr. McCormick and Mr. Anderson for leading this project and providing our students with an opportunity to use their skills to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

We can't wait to see what our students build!

Can You Guess the Teacher Thursday?

This week’s mystery teacher has quite the Warrior history! 🤔

Here are your clues:

He has worked in four different buildings during his time in the district.

Two of those schools have since closed, and one has even been renamed!

He’s definitely not afraid to have a little fun for a good cause! Over the years, he has:
Been duct-taped to a wall
Sumo wrestled
Slept overnight on the roof
Taken pies to the face
Let his students cut his hair

Think you know who it is?

Drop your guess in the comments—and if you know him, share a favorite memory or story! ❤️🖤
