We honor the memory of Mrs. Patricia Barnett, the visionary first principal of Howell Graves Preschool, whose dedication shaped the foundation of our school community for 17 years.

Mrs. Barnett’s leadership was defined by a profound commitment to fostering a lifelong love of learning in every child who walked through our doors. She understood that early education is about more than just academics; it is about building a foundation of curiosity, confidence, and joy for children and their families alike.

The current and past faculty and staff of Howell Graves Preschool are sincerely grateful for the lasting impact she made on our community and our students. She will always be remembered as an inspiring leader who genuinely loved her work and cherished every student she served. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the standard of excellence she established for our school. She will be deeply missed, but her influence will continue to guide us for years to come.

Hey Parents!

Please review and share the traffic video with whoever is dropping off or picking up your child in the morning or afternoon. As a reminder, do not block neighborhood driveways. Students should not be dropped off without an adult before 7:15 a.m.

Thanks, Amy Gandy Morris, for sharing! This is great advice! Practice: putting folder in backpack, taking folder out, zipping and unzipping backpack, putting water bottle in and out, getting lunchbox out, snack out (we ask that snack is separate from lunchbox just in a baggie - not a box), opening items in snack/lunch, putting jacket on/off. If it’s hard for you to open- it’s for sure too hard for our kinder babies!
