We loved seeing students from our Adventist schools across Iowa and Missouri come together to lift their voices and instruments in praise at Sunnydale Academy.

My favorite part of the day is watching our students dive into the Word for themselves. They don’t just listen because someone told them to—they engage, they question, they search for truth with their own eyes and hearts.

And it always reminds me of something simple…
You can’t study your Bible in the dark. You might hold the pages and read the words.
But without light, nothing comes alive.

In the same way, we need the light of Jesus to understand the truth He’s already given us. When His light shines, everything becomes clearer. There is Hope!

✨ We kicked off Quarter 4 with a beautiful musical adventure! 🎶

We started our day with a fun “Meet the Composer” activity during lunch, then headed to the Masterworks IV performance to hear works by Mendelssohn, Schubert, and Mozart.

Everyone showed wonderful concert etiquette and leaned all the way into the experience — noticing changes in tempo, feeling and drawing the different sounds, and listening with so much curiosity. It was a joy watching them engage so thoughtfully with live music.

Praise the Lord!
Our children traded their traditional classroom settings for an immersive education in the art of Maple Tapping.
It was captivating to see them engaged in the multifaceted process of tapping trees, sap transportation, and syrup cooking - a complete Science, History, stewardship lesson outside.

As we observed the sap flowing, we were reminded of the sweet gifts of God surrounding us. What a memorable experience!

Thank you to every student, family, and friend who helped make our History Experience Wax Museum such a success.

Watching our children step into the lives of historical figures—with confidence, curiosity, and joy—was a beautiful reminder of how powerful learning becomes when a community comes together to support it.

More than fun costumes and educational presentations, we celebrated the truth that each of us is born "For such a time as this". Every life has a purpose, and each of us can leave a good testimony to the world.

Our MACS students stepped back in time during a special field trip to the Pearl Button Museum.

They explored how Muscatine became the Pearl Button Capital of the World, discovered the creativity and hard work that shaped our community, and learned why our local history is something to be proud of. YES!! “This happened right here!”

🤪 Mid-Week Fun & Fellowship

Wednesday brought out our wild side with Crazy Hair and Crazy Socks! We shared a delicious Haystack Lunch together, but the best part was playing games led by the students.

Seeing them step up as leaders to create fun for their friends was truly special. 🌮🧦

​What a blessed way to wrap up the semester before Winter Break. The classrooms have been filled with so much laughter, learning, and the love of Jesus. Here are just a few of the highlights:

​🐾 God’s Amazing Creation
We loved seeing the students dressed as the favorite animals... students enjoyed face paint. It was the perfect partner to our visit from the Nature Center where the students learned so much about winter animals and how the Lord designs them to survive and thrive in the cold. It was a beautiful reminder of His love and care. 🐻🦉
