The Iowa State University Digital Ag Innovation Lab, in collaboration with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, will host the inaugural Combine University, a new hands-on educational program designed to help operators, producers and agricultural professionals maximize harvest performance through practical education and technology-focused learning.
Modeled after the success of Planter University, Combine University prepares participants for the technical demands of harvest by providing expert instruction on combine operation, yield monitor calibration, sensor technology, grain loss management, machine optimization and data accuracy.
The one-day program will be offered on August 24, 25 and 26, 2026 at Blomgren Seeds, 1927 250th St., Boone, Iowa 50036. Each day features the same curriculum allowing participants to choose the date that best fits their schedule.
Throughout the day, participants will explore machine setup and automation, harvest technology, grain loss evaluation, yield monitor calibration and fall systems management while learning how machine settings and grain flow affect both harvest performance and data quality. The hands-on format is designed for participants of all experience levels.
Registration is $249 per person, and participants who complete the program receive a certificate upon competition. Registration closes on Aug. 19.
