A great example of leadership and perseverance!

Beckett started Taekwondo at just 3 years old and recently moved from Mini Champs into Junior Champs after two full years of training. When he needed a little extra help staying focused, assistant instructor Mr. Gabriel stepped up and worked right alongside him.

The result? Beckett earned his stripe and will take his very first color belt test this Friday!

So proud of Mr. Gabriel for leading by example and Beckett for never giving up!

The stripes are starting to show up!

Before our students are eligible for next Friday’s color belt test, they first have to demonstrate that they’re ready. That means showing their instructors the technique, knowledge, effort, and focus expected at their current rank.

We’re proud of these students for putting in the work and earning their opportunity to test! Keep working hard — we still have plenty more stripes to earn this week!

As our students head back to school soon, remember: the character you show outside the dojang matters just as much as the skills you show inside it.

Be the student who says hello.
Include the person sitting alone.
Invite someone to join your group.
Stand up for someone who needs a friend.
Celebrate what makes others different.
And above all — choose kindness, even when no one is watching.

A huge THANK YOU to our students and families who traveled this weekend to support another outstanding Midwest UTA tournament yesterday!

Congratulations to everyone who competed! We are incredibly proud of your effort, your attitude, and the way you represented the USAMA family.

A special thank you to our hosts for putting on a fantastic event. We appreciate all the time and hard work that goes into making these tournaments possible and giving our students opportunities to compete, connect, and continue growing in the martial arts.

Well done, everyone! We can’t wait for the next one!
