Monarch butterflies typically begin their spring migration north from Mexico in mid-March. Have you seen any yet?

Get involved in citizen science! We can do great things.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲?
Citizen science is scientific research conducted voluntarily by members of the public in collaboration with professional scientists. Anyone can participate in most citizen science projects regardless of age or background. That means that there are real scientific research projects that you and your kids can contribute to!

Such a great thing for Minnesota! Outdoor School for All!

Minnesota has now passed the Outdoor School For All law, creating a statewide grant program to expand access to immersive, multi-day outdoor education for students and strengthen nature-based learning for all kids in the state. 🌲✨

We need to support our forests!

Our forests. They cover our mountain ranges, fill our valleys and line our lakes and rivers. They provide wildlife habitat, filter our air and water, sequester carbon, and are vital to life as we know it.

But it is up to us to keep them healthy. Critical efforts to revitalize forests across the country — and around the globe — are underway to ensure that they live on for future generations.
