🎶 It’s almost time for our first concert of the semester!

🎤 Next Friday on March 7th, we will be having our first ever Open Mic Night! Our concert will feature performances from both of our choirs as well as 7 acts from a few of our very own members! These acts will be a variety of solo, duet, and trio performances.

🎵 Tickets are FREE for MVUSD staff and students, $5 for general admission. Performance will be in the VMHS PAC at 7PM.

Our standout student this week is Kaitlyn Alindogan!

Kaitlyn is a committed 4-year member of the choir program, repping as a soprano in both the Chamber and Concert choirs! She has demonstrated a love for helping others as well as making beautiful music with her friends. Kaitlyn is a light of positivity in the program!

As for our Stand Out Students from December..

Daniel is one of our newest members and has proven to be passionate about the program. He loves to light up the classroom with his jokes and always comes to class prepared. Good work Daniel!

Joshua is a 4-year member of the program and is one of the most prominent bass voices in our Chamber Choir. We are so grateful for his hard work in helping Concert Choir last semester! Thank you Josh!

Samantha is a phenomenal member of Chamber choir! She is always prepared to sing as either an alto or soprano, showing off her musical talents. We absolutely love having Sam in our program!

Caden is one of the most committed members of the program, spending all 4 years of high school singing with us. He has shown his amazing singing skills through his bold voice as a bass. Caden is always willing to lend a helping hand, which shows how much he truly cares about choir. Keep up the good work Caden, we are proud of you!

Our stand out student this week is Brock Edinger!

Brock has been gifted with a wonderful bass voice is quickly learning how to use it to the fullest! Brock is involved in our band program on campus and plays French horn. His musicianship is incredible, his energy is always positive, and he is a great team player!

Our standout student this week is Lexy Gratrix!

Lexy has come out of her shell very quickly and to the delight of all her fellow choir members. She has been to most if not all of our social events and is a prime example of buying in to our culture! Not to mention, her voice is blossoming into one the leading and prominent sounds of Concert Choir.

Chamber Choir had the opportunity to perform during the homecoming half time show with the jazz band! We rocked out to Life is a Highway!

Our stand out student this week is none other than our choir president, Kaylee Colorado!

Kaylee is one of our most talented singers and hardest workers. She took on a lot of responsibility this year and is soaring! Our program owes a lot to her organizational and brainstorming skills!
