Melanie's Melodies I teach piano and cello lessons in Murrieta for ages five and up, beginner to advanced. I'm also a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music.

I have been teaching since 1994 and I received my Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in piano performance.

Katelyn might be my most excited little musician. She performed in both piano and cello solo events, and participated in the music theory test. In the piano solo event, she received another Excellent this year. And for her first time entering the cello solo event, she received a Superior! She also received a Superior on her Theory test. Keep it up, Katelyn! 🎵🎹🎶

October recital dates and times below! As soon as you know which one you want to join, comment here or text me. I will assume all sign ups are for zoom. If you want to try to come in person, please specify. Only a few can join each recital in person — first come first served.

Saturday October 24 - 1:00 pm
Tuesday October 27 - 3:00 pm
Thursday October 29 - 6:00 pm
Friday October 30 - 6:00 pm

(Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday private lessons are replaced by the recital. Monday and Wednesday students get a private lesson as well as their recital that week.)

Group piano lessons beginning in August! 🎹🎶
Openings on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

These group lessons are for beginners (or students who need a refresher course). For students who already read notes, contact me about private lessons.

I can accept up to six students in each group.

What do you get in group piano?
🎵 Learn the keys and basic note reading
🎵 Teamwork
🎵 Lower tuition for the lesson length (45 minute group lessons for the same tuition as 30 minute private lessons)
🎵 More opportunities to play in a duet/trio

Group piano students who wish to continue and learn beyond the basics can switch to private lessons at any time.

I still have openings for private students as well. Message me or check out my website for more information or to sign up for a lesson.
