“MY SON WAS ATTACKED TODAY!”…

With tears in her eyes, those were the words of one of our Final Strike moms as she entered the studio yesterday. “My son was attacked today at school by 2 other kids, and I’m so thankful for you and the instructors at Final Strike. Without hesitation, when they approached him and put their hand on his throat and shoulders, he did exactly what he had been taught over the past year and defended himself. He is safe and unhurt because of what you have taught him. Thank you so much!”

It’s difficult to put into words the joy in our hearts, seeing the tears of joy flow from this mothers’ eyes, knowing that the instructors at FS played a part in the safety of her son. Yesterday could have turned out a lot differently.

A good, respectful attitude will keep you out of most bad situations, but there are times when the threat comes looking for you and you are required to take action! And he did just that.

Thank you to all the parents that entrust your children and families to us for their training.

Moments like these are why we are blessed to instruct.
