Fall 2024 Class Description
This class is for beginning ballroom students—no dance experience necessary! You will be introduced to the Foxtrot and Cha Cha. Each class will build upon the previous one, so regular attendance is highly encouraged.

Registration is completed as a couple, so grab a partner that wants to learn and join us!

Attire for the class should include clothing that allows for easy movement—things like tight skirts (which restrict leg movement) should be avoided. Shoes that have a smooth sole and will not fall off are recommended. No flip flops or tennis shoes, please.

If there is sufficient interest in the future, we hope to hold a class where participants can register singly.

Parks & Recreation | Murrieta, CA

Our Fall classes start on October 1st! We will meet each Tuesday from 6-7 pm for eight weeks. It is going to be a blast!

Get ready! The first ever ballroom dance class through Murrieta Parks and Rec is coming this fall!!

Teaching Qualifications:
I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Dance from Brigham Young University. While at BYU, I toured internationally with their Ballroom Dance Company for two years, winning national and international competitions. I also taught dance classes at the university and for their youth dance program. While teaching, I coached a pre-teen formation team who won the United States national title in Latin and took second place in Standard. I also competed on an individual level with partners, winning several competitions and placing in the top six at many more.
