Original family owners were Bud and Gail Reddick, then passed on to daughter Brenda Scharman in 1986l who is also past state board chairperson, current Board of Directors of American Association of Cosmetology Schools and legislative chairperson for the Utah Beauty School Association. Now her daughter Rickie Mehl is the School Director running day to day operations as well as assisting in instruction.

Beauty school is about more than learning how to do hair. ✂️
When Jessica Kimball enrolled at Cameo College, she already had six years of experience as a cosmetologist.
What stood out to her? The business education.
Through our Nuts and Bolts curriculum, Jessica learned more about the business side of the beauty industry, from building a loyal client base to understanding service pricing, rebooking, referrals, and financial literacy.
Her journey eventually brought her back to Cameo College as an instructor. Today, she’s gone on to hire and mentor other beauty professionals, and she still sees the value of that training.
At Cameo College, we believe learning the skills behind the chair is just part of your education. Understanding the business behind those skills matters, too.
