🔬✨ Math & Science Family Night is Coming! ✨🧮

We are so excited to welcome Jason Lindsey to Murray Middle School for this year’s Math & Science Family Night! This year, Jason is doing something a little different. He will be leading whole group science presentations in the auditorium that you will not want to miss.

In addition to the live science fun, we will have math stations set up throughout the building, and there will be pizza for the whole family. 🍕

Our Student Council is proud to host our First Responders Appreciation Breakfast on February 26th from 8:00–9:00 AM in the MMS Atrium.

This small gesture is simply our way of saying thank you to the men and women who step up, stand strong, and show up when it matters most. Your courage, commitment, and care for our community do not go unnoticed, especially by our Tigers.

If you are a first responder, we would love to serve you breakfast and express our gratitude in person.

MURRAY MIDDLE SPEECH WINS AT MURRAY ETHERTON / LAKER SWING TOURNAMENT
The Murray Middle Speech Team took second place in the Laker Invitational hosted by Calloway County High School at CCMS on Saturday. Calloway Middle won first and Hendersonville Middle School (TN) took third. Students from Murray Middle won awards in the following events:

Murray finalizes plans for new multimillion-dollar elementary school project Construction will soon begin on a new elementary school in Murray that educators say will accommodate more students while reflecting the history of the city’s school district.

💘 Soda Grams are coming soon! 💘

💞The MMS PTO is getting ready for their annual Valentine’s Day Soda Grams fundraiser, and we’d love your help! This is always a fun and well-loved event, and the funds raised go directly toward supporting our PTO and our school.

💓To get started, we’re collecting sodas by grade level. If you’re able to donate, please send in the soda assigned to your student’s grade. All donated sodas should be 12-ounce cans, same brand (as pictured), and the same size.

💕Donations can be sent in anytime during the month of January.
