MSU Art Education

Today, Art Education majors Olivia and Abbey, along with Dr. Williams, had the pleasure of making art with artists from Holland House. Community engagement is an important part of our Art Education program, and we were grateful for the opportunity to create alongside this enthusiastic group, led by MSU alumna Hadley Stephens, founder and executive director of Rolling in Faith. Today our student teachers came to campus to wrap up their placements. We’re very proud of them and can’t wait to see them graduate on Saturday! A big thank you to their cooperating teachers and practicum teachers who helped mentor them along this journey.

We’re excited to share that our 2022 MSU Art Education alumni, Kayla Chinn, has been named this year’s COEHS Outstanding Middle School Educator. Kayla brings creativity, compassion, and dedication to every aspect of her work and we’re thrilled for her to be celebrated.
