I went on a hike today, I thought of fasting today too since I have on July 30 before two different years for big life decisions, but I gave into temptation and didn’t fast. I went slow on hike, enjoying the beauty, striving to hear Him…
When coming down the trail, I heard “Jenny, you fasted from being fast today, thank you for being still and knowing that I am”.
I thought that we can fast from being fast and reminded to also fast from worldly and natural man things.

Choose to
Fast from Fear.
Choose to BE
Fast to Faith.

I took this picture at 3:16pm today.
When I see the numbers 316, I am reminded and think of the scripture in John 3:
16 ¶ For God so loved the world⁠, that he gave his only begotten Son⁠, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life⁠.

The next picture I took at 3:17. Standing in the same place, just facing a different direction and different perspective.
It reminded me that verse 17 in John 3 is also an important truth to know.
16 ¶ For God so loved the world⁠, that he gave his only begotten Son⁠, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life⁠.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved⁠.

I wondered if rock could see, are they seeing the ever changing skies. And if clouds could see, do they see the solid rocks?

How do you feel God’s Love when things are changing around you, knowing God’s Truth doesn’t change and Their Love is risk solid and never changing?

The necklace I have on says 3:16 on the back side. That was a special day when that necklace found me. A post for another day but a I reminder that God is aware of all of us, always! 🤍

Our Words are our Works.
(words = spoken or unspoken; thoughts, beliefs)

I asked, “Who am I?”
I heard,
“You are My Word and My Work.
My Words created you, in Our image.
Use your image-ination
with My Words to translate
your real true self
into yOUR image.”

Our words are our work.
His WORD is His WORK.
Moses 1:39 For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

We are His Words, Work and Glory.
Our work on earth is to become His Word and Glory.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image⁠, after our likeness⁠:..
27 So God created man in his own image⁠, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

So maybe in a way we are saved by Works.
His and ours.

Are you working with The Word?
If things aren’t working,
then change your words,
align them to God’s Word.

Come and See, Come to KNOW.

Friday evening I had the opportunity to speak to a group of young women about some of my experiences being a background extra on The Chosen.
The Chosentvseries
A message from the beginning episodes is “come and see” and now also the name of the fouCome and See Foundationdation that funds production, global distribution and translation to reach 600 languages.

Many in the first century, during Jesus’s mortal ministry did not believe He was the Messiah. They proclaimed “No Messiah”. “Crucify Him.”
Many now, in the 21st, do not believe Jesus is the Messiah and that He will come again … soon.

The words “no” and “know” sound the same year have different meanings.
Do you believe there is NO Messiah?
Or do you KNOW the Messiah or want to KNOW Jesus Christ?

Dallas Jenkins said in a recent interview that his desire in creating The Chosen is that people KNOW and love the Savior more that they did before watching it.

Another line in episode 4, season 1, Mary says,
“I was one way but now I am completely different and the thing that happened between was Him.”

I shared how as I was creating costumes from thrift store finds, cutting apart pillow shams to add to a tunic, and making something completely different that had been discarded and now became something to help testify of Jesus Christ.

How I used RIT Dye to change color and as I did I wondered “what do I need to get rid* of and let die* to become something new? a rebirth, a resurrection.

Jesus died and was resurrected to make us new creatures, whole and complete with His atoning sacrifice and grace.
Being an extra was a life-changing experience and watching The Chosen has led me to further studying of His Words and Teachings and leading me to KNOW The Messiah, our Redeemer and Savior Jesus Christ.
Also the people I have met, from all over the world, and many denominations have helped me to KNOW Him better. Their friendships and life experiences have changed me. I’m grateful they have CHOSEN to KNOW!

Jesus Christ is our whole and complete Healer as we put our whole and complete faith in Him.

Christ’s Invitations to All:

“LOOK unto Me”
“FOLLOW Me”
“COME unto Me”
“WALK with Me”
“ENTER into My Rest”
“ABIDE in Me”
“ABIDE with Me”

Christ’s invitations for all may start with a simple nudge to Come and See and then we will
Come to KNOW.
He will lead, guide and walk beside to help us all find the way, as each invitation progresses on the covenant path.
Jesus Christ is THE WAY, The Truth and The Life.

His instructions are simple, The Doctrine of Christ, the Covenant Path to return to Him and our Heavenly Parents for Eternity.

Jesus Christ is the reason for Religious Liberty and Freedom.
Because of Him,
All have the freedom to
“worship how, where and what they may”.

“And that law of the land which is constitutional⁠, supporting that principle of freedom
in maintaining rights and privileges,
belongs to
all mankind,
and is justifiable before me.”
D&C 98:5

Let us all use our moral agency to Pray and Fast that religious liberty is strengthened for all the world on Sunday July 5th.

“All are invited to participate in a unified fast to express gratitude for religious liberty and to pray that it be strengthened throughout the world,”

wrote President Dallin H. Oaks
and his counselors,
President Henry B. Eyring
President D. Todd Christofferson.

All are invited to join in fast and prayer, scheduled for Sunday, July 5.
