Meet the People Behind Small Fri Academy ❤️
Marnees educational background holds degrees in Elementary Education, Sociology,
Criminology and corrections. She was an elementary teacher teacher for 3 years before opening the first childcare center in 1999.
Scotts educational background is in Secondary Education and Athletics. He coached various youth teams in volleyball and softball.
Between the 2 of them they have raised 7 children, have 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Through their life experiencs with children they have learned that children are naturally curious and eager to learn. Children thrive in a structured, loving environment filled with meaningful activities and new opportunities to explore.
Today, more than 27 years later, the owners remain committed to providing an environment that supports the mental, social, emotional, and physical development of every child who becomes part of the Small Fri family.
We are proud to introduce our director, Veronica, who holds a degree in Educational Psychology and has more than 30 years of experience working with children. She has been a part of Small Fri Academy for the past 15 years. She brings knowledge, dedication, and a genuine passion for child development to our program. Her leadership helps create a safe, loving, and enriching environment where children, families, and teachers feel supported.
Together, the Owners and Director continue to carry out the vision that started Small Fri Academy: creating a place where children feel safe, loved, supported, and inspired to learn and grow.
