Murray State University Double Reeds

Some of the Murray State Double Reeds took a break from final exams for Bassoon & Oboe-Bo-Bowling Night! Now, on to summer break!

I'm a bit late with this post, but the Murray State Double Reeds had a BIG week last week! We had three studio recitals (special thank you to pianists Dr. Meeyoun Park, Min-Kyo Jung, and Rob Arneson!), Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble concerts, and the New Music Concert. Congrats to everyone on great performances and good luck on juries and finals this week!

Last bassoon reed class of the year! Nicholas Mehne couldn't be with us today, so we took a photo with his photo! 😆

Tonight, the Murray State Double Reed and Saxophone Studios + friends had our annual holiday party! We had cookies and hot chocolate and made ornaments (often incorporating our old reeds). Vote for your favorite ornament by leaving a "like" on their photo!
