OMAS: Organization of Murray Art Students. MEETINGS: We meet often through the fall semester, a little less in the spring. Membership fee is $5.
Our meetings are typically Thursdays at 5:30. Check our social media pages for more info about meetings. A group of students and faculty at Murray State University who work together to try and create a solid, fun community for each other. OMAS is accepting submissions from 9 to 4 today, tomorrow and Friday for the OMAS Student Show! $5 per submission, and one free for OMAS members! We're tabling at the 6th floor of Price Doyle Fine Arts Center.

The results are in! "Annees Folles" is the name of the OMAS Student Show!! This translates as the "Crazy Years" which is what the French called the Roaring Twenties. The show opens on April 19th, at 5:30 in the 6th floor gallery of Price Doyle.

This Saturday (August 25th) OMAS will be participating at a carnival for Tymeless Hearts, which is a nonprofit organization that helps families of children with congenital heart defects (CHDs). This fundraiser is held at Trigg County Schools in Cadiz, Ky. We will get there at 9am for set up, and the event runs from 10am - 4pm. We will have a table set up at the event where we will offer face painting and make-your-own beaded bracelets and necklaces for the kids.This is an excellent community service opportunity, and a great way for us to build a positive presence in the community! For those who are able to go, this will be a great way for us to get back together and have fun for a good cause.
