Hester College - your home away from home Hester College is one of eight Residential Colleges on Murray State University's campus.

Residential Colleges are the upgrade of traditional dorms, and offer many benefits that your typical college dorm buildings do not. Hester College has a working government, run by students, and overseen by faculty. Hester College shows a fantastic display of community and camaraderie among the building as a whole as well as each individual floor. Each college on campus competes for what is called

This Saturday is Merry Murray Hall-iday! This event is open to all ages and will be filled with fun activities, music, food, and more! This year’s theme is Holidays Around the World and our Residential Colleges will be offering crafts and information about how different countries celebrate the holidays. Merry Murray Hall-iday is a free event, but this year there will also be a Guge Back Gala and the Residential Colleges will be collecting donations for locations around Murray. If interested in bringing something to donate, ideas of items being collected can be found on the second page. 🎄We can’t wait to see you there!🎄 12/05/2025
