Iceberg Training: Understanding Behavior January 22, 2027
9:00-3:00 at the WKEC Conference Center

The Iceberg training will look under the surface of behavior to examine classroom behaviors to understand and support all students. The impacts of trauma, mental illness, neurodiversity, and poverty will all be discussed with basic strategies that educators can use to support their students and their classrooms.

Alternate Assessment Training September 29, 9:00am-3:00pm

This introductory session is designed for educators who administer or assist with the Alternate Kentucky Summative Assessment (AKSA).

Participants will gain an overview of the AKSA process and explore two key components: Attainment Tasks (AT) and the Transition Attainment Record (TAR).

Participants will also navigate the AKSA website, explore available resources, and complete the required online quiz. An electronic device is recommended for participation.
