We’ve got some fundraising events coming up! If you’d like to support EQ in our goal of attending the National A Ca****la Convention or Briarcrest Invitational, we’d love to see you at our bake sale in front of Curris this Friday and/or at our rebate night at Burrito Shack next Tuesday! With the heat index projected to be above 100° on Saturday afternoon, Festival of Champions has altered the format to a single round of competition. The first band will take the field at 6:00PM. We appreciate everyone's continued support of FOC and the Racer Band. This event generates a considerable amount of the budget for all the Murray State Bands. Please join us for a fantastic evening of performances!

TODAY (September 18) Join the CHFA community for our first Career-Ready Student Conference! The day is packed with sessions to help students craft job search documents, personal statements, and to get a professional headshot taken. The event is free and open to all students, whether they can attend just one session or join us for the entire day.

Make plans to join us on October 6th at 7:30PM in Lovett Auditorium for the first Murray State Bands concert of the semester. This performance will feature both the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. The concert is a free and open to the public!

Due to the continued extreme heat, the schedule for Festival of Champions this Saturday has been changed. To keep all competitors and audience members out of the worst of the heat, the gates will open at 4pm and only one round of competition will happen. Please stay hydrated!

Did you know we had some work done this past summer? The Band Room, Choir Room, Percussion Suite, and Old Fine Arts hallways and classrooms got some much needed love. The large rehearsal rooms and Percussion Suite are now safer for people's hearing, easier and safer to maneuver percussion instruments in and out, plus they look fantastic!
