The Iceberg training will look under the surface of behavior to examine classroom behaviors to understand and support all students. The impacts of trauma, mental illness, neurodiversity, and poverty will all be discussed with basic strategies that educators can use to support their students and their classrooms.

ATTENTION SLP's! 📣

This training will begin introducing participants to AAC and what type of communicator would benefit from adding AAC to their total communication system.

From there participants will learn about typical language development versus AAC language development as well as discussing common myths about AAC.

We will discuss different types of AAC, selection of devices, and programming vocabulary with the focus being core language. Learners will then be introduced to strategies for how, when, and where to teach functional communication, including the principals of aided language stimulation/input and peer mediated instruction and intervention.

Restorative Practices is a two-day, interactive training designed to help educators implement and embed restorative approaches into everyday supports and existing school frameworks.

Day 1 focuses on proactive strategies that build a positive school climate, including the use of social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum, classroom circles, and affective statements.
Day 2 shifts to responsive practices, emphasizing how to address harm through teaching effective apologies, facilitating restorative conversations, and using mediation to repair relationships.

By the end of the training, participants will leave with a practical toolbox of strategies they can confidently apply in their classrooms.

Phonological intervention training for SLP's.

Come join us for a phonological intervention targeting harder, later-developing sounds (e.g., consonant clusters like /spl/, fricatives) before easier ones, accelerating learning through generalization. Often resulting in a faster overall system reorganization and fewer total therapy sessions.

Participants Will:
Explain the principles and steps of the complexity approach.
Practice the process of target selection using speech sample analysis.
Identify and problem solve barriers to successful remediation of speech sound errors.
