The Film Studies program at Murray State University emphasizes the history, theory and practice of film in the larger context of liberal arts studies.

The purpose is to enhance understanding of this important medium and its influences across the disciplines. In consultation with faculty, staff and advisors, students may select elective courses within the Film Studies minor relevant to their academic and career objectives.

Murray State University > MSU Reading Experience 06/10/2012

The 2012-13 MSU Reading Experience book is Never Let Me Go (2010) by Kazuo Ishiguro. Set in the 1990s, Never Let Me Go weaves the tale of three young people enrolled in a mysterious, even bizarre, English boarding school called Hailsham. The rules are strange and the teachers even more so as we explore the lives of Kathy, Ruth and Tommy. To say more would spoil the suspense of this gripping novel.
