🍎 Preparing future educators for the classroom!

On Thursday, September 10, the Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) hosted its annual Substitute Teacher Workshop, giving current COEHS students an opportunity to learn what it takes to step into the classroom as a substitute teacher.

Students connected directly with representatives from local school districts to learn about the substitute teaching process, district policies and expectations, benefits, and opportunities to gain valuable classroom experience while completing their degrees.

A special thank you to Calloway County Schools, Graves County Schools, McCracken County Public Schools, Mayfield Independent Schools, and Murray Independent Schools for spending time with our students and helping prepare the next generation of educators! 💙💛
